Community inclusion

Adult services

Community inclusion supports adults with developmental disabilities and their families/caregivers in the Cowichan Region — the Clements Centre Day Program operates Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The goal for community inclusion at Clements Centre is to increase individuals’ involvement and contribution to the communities they live in.

Community inclusion programs

Clements Centre day programs provide group activities for adults with disabilities.

Through our three locations ranging from Cobble Hill to Duncan, Community Support Workers help each individual to achieve their ideal form of independence in the environment of their choice through onsite and in-community participation.

Each participant is supported by developing their personal goals that emphasize their strengths, areas of improvement and preferences. Goals frequently look like leisure and recreation, health and wellness, communication, volunteerism, and life and employment skills development.

Day programs are funded and referred through Community Living BC (CLBC).
